Estratégia da aranha são reflexões sobre o sentido do ensino de história das relações entre história e projeto na formação profissional, o texto procura formular uma estratégia pedagógica compativel com o estado contemporâneo da estética da arquitetura e da epistemologia das ciências sociais. A estrategia depende de uma ação criativa. Defende a tese de que os grandes discursos históricos e as estruturas interpretativas fixas devem ser divididas com aproximações provisórias e fragmentárias - armadilhas para capturar o sentido da história nas ação contemporânea. Explorando as possibilidades das narrativas não lineares, indica alternativas para redefinir o lugar da história na pratica do projeto.

Spider´s stratagem is the text of the conference made for the contest for full Professor on History and Theory of Architecture and Urbanism of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in the spring of 2011. The book brings the reflections on the sense of teaching history and theory on undergraduate courses of architecture. Departing from the history of the relationship between history and design in the architectural education, the book develops a pedagogicalstrategy compatiblewith the contemporary state of the architecture aesthetics and of the social sciences episthemology. The stratagem depends on a creative action.Theauthor defends the thesis that the great historic discourses and the steady interpretative structures may share room with provisional and fragmentary appoaches - traps to capture the sense of history in contemporary action. By exploring the possibilities of non-linear narrtives, he indicates alternatives to redefine the place of history in the praxis of design.
