This travelling exhibition opened in Barcelona in October 2009 and has been visited by 50.000 people since then in Paris, Essen, Madrid and Vienna. The exhibition includes the 2009 Prize which went to Snøhetta archictects for the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet in Oslo and the Emerging Architect Special Mention which was presented to Lea Pelivan and Toma Pleji? Gymnasium 46°09'N/16°50'E in Koperivnica, Croatia.

The European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture/Mies van der Rohe Award highlights changes in contemporary architecture and it is seen worldwide as an important benchmark for the latest developments in European architecture.
