DOCOMOMO will visit the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth campus, one of Rudolph’s largest and most fully realized projects, and one of the most important examples of an era of campus building that embraced the idea of the “megastructure.” The tour will be led by personnel from DesignLab architects and Austin Architects, who are doing an addition to and renovation of the university library, and members of the library and administrative staff of the University. We assemble at 9:30 AM at Quincy Adams T station commuter drop-off (please note the $7 cash-only parking fee), returning no later than 4:00 PM.

Please RSVP to Rita Walsh and Marie Sorenson. Transportation will be via car-pool, so please also indicate if you are willing and able to be a driver for the tour.
