Summer 2011 will see the museum’s external areas transformed into a garden of green islands that will host the numerous events presented to the general public thanks to the WHATAMI project conceived by the stARTT studio within the ambit of YAP MAXXI – the Young Architects Program, developed in collaboration with MoMA and MoMA PS1. Among the various initiatives, MAXXI Architecture is presenting Architecture Talks – Rome, a series of events dedicated to the most recent Italian architecture which this year will see 24 Rome studios taking turns to present their research and activities to the public. The programme will be an opportunity to discover, through brief conferences accompanied by videos and images, the work of recently founded practices in direct comparisons with internationally established studios.
