For the first time in North America, the International Traspotation Economics Assossiation, in alliance with Northwestern University, promotes a double event to discuss major issues on transportation. Among the subjects to be discussed in the conference are transport investment and funding, airline and airport economics, fuel efficiency, alternative fuels and emissions, parking, traffic crashes, urban bus services, and others, to be presented throughout over 100 papers. The keynote speaker is Charles Manski, Board of Trustees Professor of Economics at Northwestern University. His research spans econometrics, judgment and decision, the analysis of social policy, and disaggregate choice models.
Richard Arnott, Jan Brueckner, André de Palma, Mogens Fosgerau,Robin Lindsey are some of the names responsible for leading the lectures and tutorials on the Summer School program.
